2024 Wealth Management Apprenticeship - Manchester

At Rothschild & Co Wealth Management, we provide a comprehensive range of private wealth services to some of the world’s wealthiest and most successful families, entrepreneurs, foundations and charities.

As a family-run business, the “family feel” runs through all our offices. We have a friendly, supportive, and collaborative culture.

The Wealth Management Apprenticeship is a great way to start your career in financial services and gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry.

After joining, you will spend the first four months on a rotational programme in three different teams within the Wealth Management Division; Client Data Management team, Client Service team and Transactions team. The rotational period provides a valuable insight into how different parts of the company work, as well as exposure to how all teams connect and contribute to the success of the business.

The Client Data Management (CDM) team are responsible for opening new client accounts in our banking systems and for all changes to client data on accounts for existing clients. They are also involved in system developments, including using robotics technology to speed up data entry processes.

The Client Service team work closely with our Client Advisers on the administration of the accounts, including client onboarding, processing payment instructions and maintenance of client accounts.

The Transactions team are responsible for our controls related to client fees, transfers of stock and high value payments. They are often liaising between our Client Service team and our colleagues in Switzerland.

All three teams play a key role in ensuring we are meeting our regulatory requirements as a business and providing exceptional client service to our clients.

After the rotational programme, you will be placed permanently in the Client Data Management team and will start studying towards your apprenticeship qualification, which takes 18-24 months to complete.

Successful candidates will initially be offered a fixed-term 3-year contract with the opportunity to turn permanent based on performance, once their apprenticeship qualification has been completed.
