Rothschild & Co’s Wealth Management business recognised for supporting wealthy international customers

Rothschild & Co’s Wealth Management business was named the ‘Best High Net-Worth Team for International Clients’ at this year’s WealthBriefing Swiss Awards. The jury highlighted the Rothschild & Co brand’s excellent reputation and particular ability, as a seventh-generation family-run company, to understand the complex financial situation and resulting challenges of family businesses. In addition, the consistently long-term perspective and highly transparent nature of its investment advice stood out. Lastly, the jury emphasised the excellent investment performance and high level of asset management mandates, testifying to the high degree of trust that clients place in them.

As an independent banking group, Rothschild & Co offers its clients a long-term investment perspective, free of conflicts of interest. Based on the group's broad network and expertise, this creates unique investment opportunities for customers in the areas of, for example, venture capital and start-ups or private equity.

According to Laurent Gagnebin, the CEO of Rothschild & Co’s Wealth Management business in Switzerland: “Our long-term perspective and the very close personal relationships with our customers have paid off, especially during the pandemic. Despite not being able to meet in person, our client advisers, who are usually entrusted with around 25 clients, were able to invest a lot of time in their portfolios. This, together with a far above-average investment performance, has further strengthened our client relationships.”

WealthBriefing is a network of news portals for the wealth management industry. The annual awards are presented to banks and asset managers who have achieved extraordinary achievements, setting industry standards. The renowned WealthBriefing Awards were presented for the ninth time in Switzerland this year.
