Duco's story

An exciting place to start your career

Duco started his career with Rothschild & Co as an Intern and now works as an Analyst in Global Advisory in the London office. Being part of an Early Careers programme has allowed him to experience an international working environment and meet new people.

"For me it was really interesting to go to London to have this international experience.  Also to learn a lot about different people, because you work together with so many different people from different backgrounds, different levels, different ages. It's just really helpful to have this experience when you're younger. 

And, yes, it is a bit challenging sometimes, but that also makes it really exciting.

It's a really good place to start your career, because you have this mentorship programme. What I immediately realised was that the way that it is structured, the way you work, is super flexible it's not really stiff. It's more like a family business actually.

It's a flexible way of working, maybe even entrepreneurial in a sense. Very creative. Here I feel you are really challenged to what you are capable of doing and it's super nice."
