Rothschild & Co is pleased to announce the creation of a Private Markets Group within its Wealth and Asset management division. The new business team will create a more coherent and comprehensive Private Markets offering for its Wealth and Asset Management clients, leveraging the significant Private Assets internal expertise and product knowledge. Clients will also be able to benefit from Rothschild & Co’s Five Arrows suite of products through its Merchant Banking division.

The team will work across geographies and divisions, sourcing investment opportunities in the areas of private equity, private debt, infrastructure and real estate, creating simplified access, as well as dedicated investment vehicles and discretionary mandates for private clients.

The new Private Markets Group will be led by Jessica Sellam, reporting to François Perol, Managing Partner, Rothschild & Co. Jessica joined Rothschild & Co’s Wealth Management division in 2006 and previously led the Private Markets and Business Development teams for France, Belgium and Monaco.

By co-ordinating and utilising the significant expertise across the Wealth and Asset Management and Merchant Banking divisions, our clients will benefit from a more complete and accessible Private Markets offering,” said François Perol, Managing Partner, Rothschild & Co. “With her background and strong skillset, Jessica is the ideal person to lead this new team.”

Jessica Sellam said: “There is increasing interest from our Wealth Management clients in Private Markets’ products and we have a wealth of expertise across the Group that we will be able to harness for their benefit. Our aim is to roll out the offering across our key Wealth and Asset Management geographies over time.”
