About our London office
Located in the heart of the City of London, New Court has been home to Rothschild & Co for more than 200 years. Our first building on this site opened in 1809, when Nathan Mayer Rothschild, founder of the bank, moved from Manchester to London.
Our current building, completed in 2011, is the fourth to stand on the same site. It houses our Wealth Management team, who work alongside our Global Advisory business.
How to get to our London office
The Rothschild & Co London office in located in the centre of the city’s financial district. The closest London Underground stations are Bank and Cannon Street, which are less than two minutes’ walk away.
We are also close to several mainline railway stations. Cannon Street station is two minutes’ walk away, while Fenchurch Street, Liverpool Street and London Bridge railway stations are all within a 15 minute walk.
Car parking is available at London Vintry Thames Exchange (EC4R 3TB) and Tower Hill Coach and Car Park (EC3R 6DT). Our London office is also accessible from each of the city’s airports.

James Morrell
James is a Managing Director and Head of Front Office at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management, having joined in 2010. He is also a Client Adviser, responsible for advising wealthy families, entrepreneurs and charities, and specialises in complex investment situations.
Prior to joining Rothschild & Co, James spent seven years at Morgan Stanley where his focus was on advising ultra high net worth individuals.
James has a law degree from Durham University. He also holds the Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI).
