Rothschild & Co’s Swiss Wealth Management business wins ‘Best Bank for International High Net Worth Clients’ at WealthBriefing Awards 2025

Winners of WealthBriefing Awards

Rothschild & Co Wealth Management has once again been recognised at the prestigious WealthBriefing Awards in Switzerland, securing the top spot in the “HNW Team International Clients” category. The jury highlighted the bank’s strong personalised approach, tailored solutions, and strategic advisory for discerning international clients, as well as its exceptional expertise in working with entrepreneurial families.

As an independent financial services group, Rothschild & Co offers its clients a long-term investment perspective free from conflicts of interest. Based on the Group's broad network and expertise, this creates unique investment opportunities for clients, for example in the areas of private equity. As a family-owned business now in its seventh generation, Rothschild & Co maintains a consistently long-term approach.

Laurent Gagnebin, CEO of Rothschild & Co Wealth Management in Switzerland, explains: “Our vision is clear - we advise our clients as their long-term partners in all wealth-related matters. Trust is at the core of our approach. Especially in times of economic and political uncertainty, our clients value our stability and expertise. We support them in preserving and growing their wealth, often in complex international family situations.”

Personalised service is a key pillar of Rothschild & Co’s advisory model. In Switzerland, each client advisor typically manages fewer than 30 clients, ensuring close relationships and tailored guidance. This client-centric approach is reflected in the high proportion of discretionary mandates, accounting for approximately 40 per cent of all clients in Switzerland, as well as the doubling of assets under management for international clients within the Swiss business in just five years.
