Lauren joined Rothschild & Co’s Lateral Recruitment team in London in 2021.
"I'm Lauren, and I work in the Lateral recruitment team.
We look for people that are really collaborative, really engaging. The skills can really be learnt and I think that the individual really makes the role what it can be.
We're looking for people from all backgrounds. I think there can be a misconception that, you know, we might only hire from certain universities or that kind of thing.
We really appreciate bringing your authentic self to work."
I think we're really trying to push out that stereotype because one good thing about this business is I think we really appreciate bringing your authentic self to work.
What I always say is that there is something here for everybody. I think there are so many examples of people that have started their career with us in roles that don't even exist anymore and I think there's so much that's transitioned over time.
I think if you're coming to work and you demonstrate your desire and capability to work hard and grow, there's always going to be something here for you and your role can develop how you wish it to be.
I think that the people we hire are great, the people that work in our business are amazing and they really want to help, and I think that the people really set this job aside for me."
