Yoyo's story
Yoyo joined Rothschild & Co's Global Advisory business in Hong Kong as an Associate over four years ago. She is now an Assistant Director, working within the Debt Advisory and Restructuring practice.
"Hong Kong is a smaller city compared to New York or London. Everything is so concentrated in the central business area.
I joined as an Associate and this year I got promoted to Assistant Director. When I joined, interestingly, Rothschild & Co was establishing our restructuring practice is Asia. I was the first dedicated Debt Advisory and Restructuring banker in Asia.
We have a very connected global team. And we work really closely together as one."
A lot of restructuring projects are global. So we've got to work with people from the London office, New York, Malaysia and Singapore.
Rothschild & Co has a very unique offering. As a junior Analyst, you have a very wide range of exposure that will enable you to learn many new things in many different areas."
