Jerry Haworth

In this video, we interview Jerry Haworth, the Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer at 36South, the third party fund manager of the Okura Fund. The Okura Fund has been part of some of our clients’ portfolios since 2011, playing a key role in our diversifying assets.

The fund provides quasi-insurance against unknown risks, or Black Swan events, much like the one experienced in markets in early 2020. Jerry talks through the kinds of risks and the best associated protection against  those risks, and specifically how the Okura fund differs in its quasi-insurance solution.
