Rothschild & Co continues to grow its Wealth Management business in Israel with appointment of Senior Client Adviser

Oren Buchman

Rothschild & Co's Wealth Management business has appointed Oren Buchman as Senior Client Adviser in its Tel Aviv office, as the bank continues to grow its presence in Israel in response to rising client demand and increasing momentum in the local market.

Oren brings more than 14 years of experience in financial services and high-net-worth client advisory, joining from Bank Hapoalim, where he began his career and most recently served as a Customer Relationship Manager in the bank's Platinum Department. In that role, he managed a portfolio of 200 high-value clients, delivering tailored banking and investment solutions and working closely with compliance teams to develop risk-mitigation frameworks aligned with client needs.

Earlier at Bank Hapoalim, Buchman served as a Regional Investment Adviser, supporting advisers across multiple branches with portfolio reviews, market insights and client strategy, and as an Investment Banking Specialist, focused on financial modelling, deal execution and identifying investment opportunities for clients. He holds a B.A. in Economics & Management, an MBA, and is a licensed Investment Adviser.

Rothschild & Co's Wealth Management business has been operating successfully in Israel since 2022, providing independent advice, discretionary portfolio management and advisory services to entrepreneurs, families and foundations. It operates alongside Rothschild & Co's Global Advisory business, which has served clients in Israel since 2008, together drawing on the firm's integrated global network and more than 200 years of experience at the centre of financial markets.

Gerry Livnat, Country Head Israel for Rothschild & Co’s Wealth Management business, said: "Israel continues to be a strategically important market for us, and one in which we see significant long-term opportunity. The country's wealth base is expanding meaningfully, supported by the continued strength of Israel's technology sector and a renewed pace of exits, which is creating a new generation of entrepreneurs and families seeking long-term, independent advice. Oren's depth of experience advising sophisticated clients, his disciplined approach and his strong understanding of the local market make him an excellent addition to our team. We are confident he will play an important role in the continued development of our business in Israel."
