Senior hires bolster the firm’s GP Solutions team

Rothschild & Co announced today that Dirk Jonske and Adrian Siew will be joining the Global Advisory business as Managing Directors of GP Solutions effective Q1 2026. These senior hires will form part of the firm’s Global Markets Solutions (GMS) business - Rothschild & Co’s platform for integrated capital markets solutions, combining public and private expertise to deliver flexible, research-driven financing strategies. Their appointment will further reinforce GMS by enhancing the origination and execution of GP-led transactions, with a particular focus on continuation vehicles. Both will be based in New York.

Mr. Jonske brings almost two decades of private capital markets experience to Rothschild & Co. He was previously Managing Director at Stifel Financial Group. Prior to this, he held senior roles at leading institutions including Credit Suisse and UBS. He advises on secondary private equity transactions and direct equity raises and has built deep relationships across the private equity and venture capital landscape. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Siew also joins the firm with a distinguished track record in advising financial sponsors and private market investors on liquidity solutions, including continuation vehicles, strip sales, tender offers and structured equity transactions. He was previously Managing Director at Stifel Financial Group and also held senior positions at Credit Suisse and Lazard. Early in his career, he was a management consultant at Booz & Company. He graduated with a B.A. in Commerce, Finance and Econometrics from Monash University, Australia.

"The private equity landscape is changing rapidly, and the surge in demand for products reflects the need for innovative GP solutions,” said Mark Connelly, Co-Head of Global Markets Solutions. “At Rothschild & Co, we unite experienced bankers, deep sector expertise, and a global network to deliver trusted advice and best-in-class execution. We are delighted to welcome Dirk and Adrian – both of whom will drive our continued success and reinforce our commitment to support clients in this dynamic environment.”

“The custom liquidity solutions and growth capital tools within private equity continue to evolve, with innovative structures like continuation vehicles reshaping how sponsors and investors both actively manage their portfolios,” said Mr. Jonske. “Rothschild & Co has a reputation for delivering impressive value and offering diversified capabilities to its clients, and I am excited to join the exceptional GP Solutions team in providing world-class counsel to the firm’s client base.”

Mr. Siew added: “Rothschild & Co is widely trusted across the private equity community as a strategic thought partner and independent advisor. I am delighted to be joining a distinguished firm recognized for its exceptional talent, discretion and global reach. I look forward to partnering and collaborating with my colleagues across the firm to further strengthen the GP Solutions business, drawing on my experience and relationships to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.”
