Rothschild & Co wins new award

A hall full of people

Rothschild & Co is pleased to announce that Matthew J. Greenberger will join the firm as Managing Director and Head of Real Estate, North America, based in New York. In this role, Mr. Greenberger will be responsible for leading Rothschild & Co’s real estate advisory activities across the region, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in an expanding sector.

Mr. Greenberger brings over 25 years of investment banking experience, most recently at Citigroup for 21 of those years, where he served as Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging. During his tenure at Citigroup, Mr. Greenberger executed transactions with a total value exceeding $350 billion. He has advised on numerous landmark deals, including the acquisition of Duke Realty by Prologis, the sale of Apartment Income REIT to Blackstone and the sale of TravelCenters of America to BP, among others.

Mr. Greenberger graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and currently serves on the advisory board of The Penn Fund.
