Rothschild & Co announces the appointment of Jennifer Moses to its Supervisory Board

Rothschild & Co is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Moses as a member of the Supervisory Board of Rothschild & Co.

Jennifer Moses is currently involved in the Education sector and particularly with ventures relating to EdTech. She co-founded and is currently Chairwoman of the Board of Caliber Schools, a public, non-profit charter school organisation with 1,700 students in California. Previously Jennifer enjoyed a 20-year career in banking and later as an independent advisor for a broad range of Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies across a range of sectors. She was a Managing Director in M&A at Goldman Sachs, where much of her career was in London, with time in Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York, covering different sectors. She subsequently served as the Special Policy Advisor for Financial Markets to Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

She obtained an MBA from Harvard University in 1989 and a BA in History of Science from Brown University in 1983.

Jennifer Moses succeeds Luisa Todini who has resigned from the Board.

Additional background on Jennifer Moses

Jennifer Moses’ career has combined finance and public policy in the United States and abroad. She was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs; served as Chief Executive Officer of the British policy think tank CentreForum; and was a senior policy adviser to Prime Minister Gordon Brown, helping to restructure the British banking sector during the financial crisis of 2008-09. She is also a co-founder and chair of Caliber Schools, a charter school management organisation in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to improving educational outcomes for historically underserved children. She was CEO for the first five years. This follows her work as a co-founder of ARK, one of the largest children's charities in the United Kingdom, and King Solomon Academy, an inner-city charter school in London that is one of the top non-selective schools in the country. She is a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow. She is passionate about equity in education. Since retiring, she has become involved in the Tech ecosystem, particularly through ventures relating to EdTech and educational initiatives.
