Rothschild & Co announces the appointment of Patrick Wellington
Rothschild & Co is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Wellington, one of Europe’s most highly regarded technology analysts, to the Global Advisory business. Mr Wellington, who will be based in London, joins as Vice Chairman of Equity Advisory.
Mr Wellington’s extensive knowledge, experience and network across the Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT) sector in Europe will strengthen Rothschild & Co’s capability across its product range and reinforce its well-established Private Capital team.
Prior to joining Rothschild & Co, Mr Wellington worked at Morgan Stanley for seventeen years, and held the position of Head of European Media and Internet Research. He previously held the same position as Head of Research at Citigroup and Schroders. Mr Wellington has the distinction of being the highest ranked research analyst in the history of the Institutional Investor Survey and retired from Morgan Stanley as the only analyst to have been rated number one in all three TMT sectors.
