Rothschild & Co hires Timothy Lufkin as Managing Director in North America
Rothschild & Co today announced that Timothy Lufkin has joined its Global Advisory business in North America as a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group. Mr. Lufkin brings more than 25 years of investment banking and sponsor coverage experience to Rothschild & Co, where he will help manage and grow the firm’s relationships with private equity clients. He will be based in New York.

Previously, Mr. Lufkin was a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group with Truist Securities. Prior to this he worked with private equity clients at American Capital Ltd. where he was a Managing Director in the firm’s Sponsor Finance Group; Mr. Lufkin also served as a Managing Director at Cowen Inc. in New York where he originated and executed mid-market M&A deals for private equity backed companies. Mr. Lufkin spent the early part of his career with DLJ Securities, working for over ten years with both public and private middle market companies. Over the course of his career, he has helped advise on or originate over 75 private equity-related transactions. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. in corporate finance.
