Global Advisory has been recognised with two IFR “Deal of the Year” awards for its outstanding advisory services on landmark restructuring transactions in EMEA and the Americas.

The Awards

1. Restructuring Deal of the Year, Americas

FTX's US$14.7bn restructuring. This highly complex transaction required multiple settlements with competing creditors and customer groups spread globally, while navigating governmental investigations and litigation disputes, all under a highly public process.

Rothschild & Co Added Value

We advised the ad hoc group creditor group holding a majority of customer claims, leading negotiations which resulted in novel plan of reorganization terms that have driven outstanding recovery levels.  We continue to support the FTX estate in the ongoing multi-billion-dollar asset disposition process to return proceeds to claimholders.

2. Restructuring Deal of the Year, EMEA

Altice France's €25bn restructuring. The transaction represents one of the largest debt restructurings completed in Europe, the Middle East and Africa during 2025. The restructuring was a complex process primarily due to its sheer size and the use of comprehensive liability management tactics

Rothschild & Co Added Value

We leveraged our global network to unite over 200 AFSA creditors to evaluate restructuring options, discussed sustainable capital levels and conducted financial analysesWe negotiated and crafted favourable financial terms to be implemented through various legal proceedings across Europe and the US.
