London

2026 Global Investor Advisory Long-Term Internship

Global Investor Advisory

Global Investor Advisory is an advisory function within Rothschild & Co’s Global Advisory business. We provide clients with strategic equity market advice and investor engagement services to help them compete for capital as effectively as possible. In practice that means identifying and accessing the most relevant pools of equity capital, understanding how the market perceives a client's investment case, sharpening the equity story, and advising boards and management teams on shareholder engagement through M&A, demergers, capital returns, index events and contested situations.

Role

You will support the team in the preparation, execution and delivery of Global Investor Advisory mandates, and contribute to the ongoing build out of the business.

This is a 5-6 month internship based in London, starting as soon as possible, with the potential to convert to a full-time Analyst role.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse shareholder registers and equity ownership data to identify, screen and prioritise target investors
  • Build quantitative analysis in Excel, including register movements, peer and index positioning, liquidity and flow analysis
  • Prepare investor profiles, briefing packs and roadshow schedules, and support the delivery of client roadshows and investor days
  • Draft client reports, board materials and pitch documents
  • Support perception studies and investor feedback programmes, from scheduling and note taking through to synthesising findings into board ready conclusions
  • Contribute shareholder analysis within live situations, including M&A, demergers, capital allocation reviews and shareholder activism defence
