Overview of Role

         

Market Data Administration:

  • Maintain and refresh Market Data Management (MDM) records on a regular basis.
  • Ensure subscriptions, users, entitlements and vendor information remain accurate and up to date.
  • Record and maintain all market data subscription elements and associated users.

Invoice Administration & Cost Allocation:

  • Apply cost allocation and coding to all market data invoices.
  • Support finance reporting by maintaining accurate recharge and allocation of records.
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation and audit / validation requirements.

User Access Management:

  • Coordinate new user access requests with external vendors.
  • Facilitate amendments, transfers, and removals of entitlements.
  • Monitor access requests and ensure timely completion in accordance with service standards.

New Joiner & Intern Support:

  • Coordinate induction activities relating to market data services.
  • Ensure required subscriptions and access rights are provisioned.
  • Support onboarding processes for new employees and interns.

Process Improvement & Automation Support:

  • Assist with implementation and monitoring of workflow automation initiatives.
  • Support automated MDM maintenance and invoice coding processes as they are introduced.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Business Integration Support:

  • Provide operational support to business integration projects involving market data tools and sources.
  • Work with senior team members to assist in the integration of new business units, platforms, and services.
  • This responsibility is support-focused and remains under senior ownership.

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

Essential

  • 1–3 years' experience in an operations, administration, market data, finance operations or shared services environment.
  • Experience working within structured processes and service-oriented workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within financial services, investment banking, asset management or professional services.
  • Exposure to market data vendors, subscription management, or licensing processes.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and workflow technologies.
  • Understanding finance coding, cost allocation, or recharge methodologies.
