Timo's story
Timo joined Rothschild & Co's Global Advisory business in Frankfurt four years ago as an Intern, before being promoted to Associate.
"I started my career at Rothschild & Co and recently got promoted to Associate. When I look back at these past years, I can really see how I have developed my personal and technical skills.
When I started as an Intern, I had the support from a mentor, and he always asked me what I would like to do. Do I want to work more in M&A projects, or more in debt advisory and restructuring projects? And within the restructuring team, I always got support from the Analysts, Associates and Vice-Presidents. They encouraged me to apply for a full time position.
The projects are very diverse, and once you go up the career ladder, you always get given more responsibility."
Once I started as an Analyst, there was always support. There's a very warm and welcoming nature in the team and I work alongside very motivated and talented people. They are really trying to deliver the best possible learnings to you and encourage you to learn more."
