James Peterson

Experience

James is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Client Relationships of the Wealth Management in the UK. As well as advising a number of successful entrepreneurs, families and charities, he is also responsible for the firm’s relationships with the professional advisers working with our clients.
 
Prior to joining Rothschild & Co in 2012, he worked as an Executive Director at UBS where he started his career in derivatives in 2002, before moving to their Ultra High Net Worth team and a management role.
 
He was previously a Trustee of the NM Rothschild Pension Scheme for six years and Chaired an Arts Education Charity for 10 years, before becoming a Trustee of CW+, the charity of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2026.

Education

James has an Honours Degree in Natural Sciences from Durham and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.
