James Morrell

Experience

James is CEO at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management. James joined the firm in 2010 and has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. Prior to his current role, James spent eight years as Head of Front Office, where he was responsible for all client teams. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on advising wealthy families, entrepreneurs and charities, and specialises in complex investment situations.

Prior to joining Rothschild & Co, James spent seven years at Morgan Stanley where his focus was on advising Ultra High Net Worth individuals. 

James lives in London with his wife and 3 young children. Most of his non work life revolves around his children, but he does still enjoy reading (particularly history and business stories) and almost all sports.

Education

James has a law degree from Durham University. He also holds the Private Client Investment Advice & Management qualification, and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
