Intern Private Banking (fixed-term 6 months)

The Swiss Onshore team is looking for a motivated intern to join the team based in Geneva for a period of 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support in opening banking relationships, including dealing with Legal & Compliance matters
- Provide general client maintenance assistance, such as:
- responding to client requests
- dealing with day to day client administration
- receiving and processing payment / trading orders
- preparing documentation for client meetings
- monitoring progress of tasks and ensure proper follow-up
- preparing Powerpoint proposals
- assisting with Excel portfolio reporting and modelling
- Ensure close co-operation with various departments including Investment Department, Legal & Compliance, Credit, Payments and Securities Administration
- Collaborate in marketing activities of the team, including maintaining prospects lists, writing marketing letters, organising meetings and business trips and ensuring proper follow up
- Coordinate meetings, both internal and with clients or prospects
- Assist with preparing presentations
- Help with client servicing and prospecting in French and English
- Participating in client calls together with the Client Advisor and Investment Department
Education and Qualifications
- Commercial degree, bank apprenticeship or similar
- Strong Excel skills
- Proficient in MS Office – strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in using MS 360 environment (Copilot, MS Planner, MS Sharepoint, MS Loop)
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Completed Internship in the financial industry is considered a plus
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets and private banking
- Proactive attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and reliability, flexibility, commitment and responsibility
- Discreet attitude, strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Flexible "Can-do" attitude
