John Brennan joins Rothschild & Co as Head of UK Financial Institutions and Co-Head of European Financial Institutions
Rothschild & Co today announced that John Brennan has joined its Global Advisory business as Head of UK Financial Institutions and Co-Head of European Financial Institutions. He joins from Goldman Sachs and will be based in London.
Stephen Fox, who has grown our UK Financial Institutions business for the past 13 years, will become Chairman of UK Financial Institutions.
Prior to joining Rothschild & Co, Mr Brennan was a Partner in the financial institutions group in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where he executed mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and restructuring transactions for a wide range of financial institutions across Europe and globally. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 as an Associate and was named Managing Director in 2011 and Partner in 2020. Mr Brennan earned an MSc in finance from University College Dublin.
