Kwanele's story
Kwanele joined Rothschild & Co's Global Advisory business in Johannesburg as an Associate two years ago.
"I work in a small team of around 25 bankers. The market as well is also quite small, so you have to find a lot of opportunities and think quite creatively around how you create solutions for clients.
You're really encouraged to spread your knowledge and read broadly and widely."
We find ourselves working with different offices in London and across the African region as well. The culture itself, there's always something exciting happening, whether it's going for runs, being active, going on hikes, or being social.
When we have new people joining the platform, we welcome them and try to bring people into the culture of the firm, where we believe in working hard, but we also believe in making sure you have a balanced life outside of the office.
It's only been two years for me, and I feel like grown immensely."
