Junyao's story
Junyao joined Rothschild & Co almost 13 years ago in our Global Advisory business based in Shanghai. She is now a Director, based in Hong Kong.
"My name is Junyao and I'm in the Global Advisory business based in Hong Kong. I joined Rothschild & Co almost 13 years ago. Even when I was an Analyst or a junior Associate, I could speak with clients directly and worked from the origination to the transaction closing.
At that time, the Managing Director in the Shanghai office were really nice and they really trust you, especially when you've proved that you are a capable junior who can deliver quality work. And now that I've been promoted to Director, I also do the same thing and give enough trust and support to the junior bankers. I think it's part of the values of Rothschild & Co.
Rothschild & Co also gave me lots of support to help me balance between family and my job."
