Third-Party Risk Analyst

Role Overview

The Third-Party Risk Analyst will be part of the global Procurement and third-party risk management (TPRM) team, with a primary focus on third-party due diligence and data management. The team is responsible for the sourcing and onboarding of third parties across Switzerland, Germany, and other countries within the EMEA region.

In this role, you will work closely with business sponsors and external third-party contacts to support onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding activities. You will ensure that required due diligence activities are completed and maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready data to support regulatory requirements and management reporting.

The role offers broad exposure to stakeholders across Procurement and the wider business and contributes to the consistent and effective management of third-party risk across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end due diligence for applicable third parties, including:
    • Performing required screening checks using available systems
    • Submitting risk surveys to third parties for completion
    • Assessing results from screening checks and survey responses
    • Escalating key findings to relevant internal teams for further investigation and final approval
  • Communicate due diligence requirements to the business sponsors and relevant third parties.
  • Monitor and initiate periodic reviews of third-party due diligence.
  • Identify any risks or non-compliance that could potentially impact the firm; and ensure timely escalation and appropriate follow-up with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across the business, including business sponsors and/or leads, subject matter experts, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
  • Maintain accurate third-party data to support regulatory needs, audit readiness, and management reporting.
  • Support business sponsors with third‑party offboarding and termination-related due‑diligence activities.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Early-career professional with some experience in Third-Party Risk, Vendor Management, Procurement, Compliance, or a related area.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on client service, data quality, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to develop within the Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management profession.
  • Willingness to take ownership of assigned onboarding and ongoing monitoring activities.
  • Team player who can work effectively across borders with Procurement managers in Switzerland, France, the U.K., and the U.S.
  • Well-organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to clearly explain requirements and support stakeholders in following established processes.
  • Interest in Third-Party Risk Management, Procurement, regulatory compliance, and emerging technologies, including AI.
