Internship - Automotive Investment Banking - Dubai

The Automotive team

The Automotive team advises clients across the automotive and mobility value chain on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, IPOs, joint ventures and strategic partnerships – from OEMs, suppliers and dealership groups to disruptive growth companies in the auto-tech and mobility space. Although based in Dubai, the team operates internationally, working closely with Rothschild & Co’s global sector specialists and regional advisers to originate and execute cross-border transactions on both landmark deals and high-growth situations.

Rothschild & Co in the Middle East

In Dubai, Rothschild & Co has the most active independent financial advisory practice, with c.50 on-the-ground specialists covering the Middle East region and capabilities spanning M&A, equity market solutions, and debt advisory & restructuring. The daily execution is led and coordinated by the Middle East team, with full support from Rothschild & Co’s global offices to provide clients with the best possible advice and market intelligence.

The Automotive team in Dubai is looking for an intern to start in late October / early November 2026, with the possibility of converting the internship into a full-time position. The intern will work on a broad range of automotive and mobility transactions across M&A and strategic advisory.

Qualifications, experience and competencies

• Strong academic performance

• A previous internship in Investment Banking is a prerequisite

• A genuine interest in the automotive and mobility sector

• Very strong analytical and numerical skills

• Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and research databases (Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, FactSet)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Diligent and committed to excellence

• Attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and sound organisation of work

• Ambitious, driven and capable of delivering results while working under tight deadlines

• A genuine interest in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region

• Fluent in English
