Luca's Story
Luca joined Rothschild & Co's Wealth Management business in Zurich almost five years ago, after transitioning from a background in medicinal chemistry. She is now a Vice-President, managing our core banking system.
"I actually come from a background that is quite different from what I do today. I am trained in medicinal chemistry. But I was always very much into IT and computer technology. So that was the progression. I went into working in IT and I work on the core banking system.

So if I have an idea I really feel like there is nobody that I couldn't just explain what I think. I truly feel there is nobody that wouldn't appreciate that.

Many times you have these events that are organised formally for you and that is also a great opportunity to then go out with people that you otherwise would never interact with because they're in a different area of the business.
Every single person says "hi" to you and they do so with a smile on their faces."
