Rothschild & Co appoints Pablo Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff as Head of Energy Services & Decarbonization, North America
Also appointed Head of Rothschild & Co’s Houston office
Rothschild & Co today announced that Pablo Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff has joined its Global Advisory business as Managing Director, Head of Houston and Head of Energy Services & Decarbonization, North America. Mr. Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff brings two decades of experience advising clients on strategic and financial advisory assignments across the energy, infrastructure and energy transition sectors.

Mr. Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff joins Rothschild & Co from Lazard, where he spent more than 14 years in the firm's Power, Energy & Infrastructure Group, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Houston. Prior to joining Lazard, Pablo worked within UBS's Latin America group.

Pablo holds a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
