Stephen Marks

Steve is a Managing Director, based in San Francisco.

Prior to joining Five Arrows in 2023, Steve was a Principal at Serent Capital, a technology-focused investment firm, where he led investments in vertical software and payments platforms across a range of end markets.

Prior to Serent, Steve was co-founder and COO of Joyable, a digital therapy startup that was acquired by AbleTo. Previously, he was an investor at KKR, where he focused on buyout transactions in the financial services and industrials spaces. Steve started his career advising on Mergers & Acquisitions at Greenhill & Co.

Steve has an AB in Economics from Harvard College, where he was Managing Editor of The Harvard Crimson, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
