Alex Midgen

Alex Midgen is a Partner, the Global Head of Real Estate, Co-Head of UK and Chairman of the UK Executive Committee within Global Advisory at Rothschild & Co in London. He has 33 years of industry experience and was previously a Director of Songbird Estates plc and Canary Wharf Group plc from 2004 to 2015.

Prior to joining Rothschild & Co in 1994, Alex was at Bernard Thorpe and DTZ Debenham Thorpe (now Cushman & Wakefield). Alex holds a first-class degree in Textiles, Economics, Management from the University of Manchester Science & Technology, has a Diploma in Property Valuation and Law from City University, and is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
