What is the Young Entrepreneurs' Dinner?
While many businesses are founded after a long career, a small number of exceptional founders start successful businesses in their 20s and 30s.
Young entrepreneurs face a unique set of challenges. We launched the Young Entrepreneurs’ Dinner Series to help these young business owners navigate these challenges, connecting entrepreneurs and serving as a forum for them to share their experiences.
At these dinners, we also invite certain entrepreneurs to speak about their journey and share any tips for success.

Our latest Young Entrepreneur's dinner
In our most recent dinner held in March, we hosted ten young entrepreneurs from a variety of industries at Claridge’s in London. During the meal, we were delighted to hear Emma Sinclair MBE, a British businesswoman, entrepreneur and journalist, speak about her fascinating entrepreneurial journey.
Before founding EnterpriseAlumni, a multinational company which makes software to manage alumni networks for large corporations, Emma worked as an investment banker at Rothschild & Co Global Advisory. She was therefore able to speak about this unique career trajectory, how she made her decision to pursue the entrepreneurial path, and her experience of being the youngest person to IPO on the LSE, at the age of 29. Emma also spoke about her social and philanthropic endeavours, having been recently appointed as UNICEF’s first Business Mentor and also acting as an advisor to the G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council.
These talking points helped foster a fascinating conversation around the table, so we would like to thank Emma for such a great insight into her entrepreneurial experience.
