Daniel Drain

Head of Sustainability and Stewardship

Experience

Dan is Head of the Sustainability and Stewardship Team at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management UK. Having joined our investment team in the spring of 2013, he has been at the core of our sustainability efforts since 2017. Dan directs sustainability and stewardship processes and projects within the investment team and collaborates with colleagues across Wealth Management UK and the wider Rothschild & Co Group.

Dan is also Co-Portfolio Manager of Exbury, our decarbonisation-focused investment strategy. Prior to joining Rothschild & Co, he held client service and operational roles at Fidelity and Premier Miton, before moving into wealth management as a part of Morgan Stanley’s multi-asset class team in London.

Education

Dan holds a first-class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the Open University, the Investment Advice Diploma from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) and is a CFA Charterholder.
