Introduction :
Five Arrows, the private equity arm of the Rothschild & Co group, is looking for an Investor Relations Intern to support the teams of the Five Arrows Multi Strategies platform (FAMS), which currently has €6 billion in assets under management and includes the following strategies:
Five Arrows Secondary Opportunities (FASO) and Five Arrows Strategic Assets (FASA), a specialist in small and mid-cap secondary transactions in Europe and the US, providing tailor-made liquidity solutions for investors and general partners who wish to actively manage their private equity portfolios (single asset and multi asset)
Five Arrows Private Equity Program (FAPEP), a global fund investment program providing its investors with access to a selection of the highest quality general partners globally, investing across different segments of the private equity asset class: primary fund investments, secondaries and co-investments
Five Arrows Growth Tech (FAGT), a fund investment program providing its investors with a diversified exposure across the technology lifecycle (venture, growth and buyouts) in the US and Europe / Israel
Five Arrows Sustainable Investments (FASI), a buyout investment program focused on minority investments and co-investments in profitable European small and mid-cap companies with responsible and sustainable products or services
Missions :
The Investor Relations Assistant will help structure the fundraising and client-related activities of the FAMS platform while gaining exposure to the Private Equity market.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Create or improve existing marketing materials in collaboration with both the investment teams and the finance teams
Support the teams in their fundraisings, including due diligence questionnaires and ad-hoc analysis in response to specific investor requests
Create, run, and manage deal performance indicators for each strategy
Produce video webinars and quarterly conference calls with investors as well as one-to-one informal updates with select investors
Research competitors, benchmark funds’ performance, evaluate Private Equity market opportunities, create investor briefing packs – using all sources of information
Preparing consolidated cashflow forecasts and summaries for investors
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
Proven ability to successfully multi-task, along with strong attention to detail
Excellent understanding of the private equity industry. Previous experience in Private Equity at an IR role, Private Banking/Wealth Management or Consulting is a plus.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including substantial experience in company and industry research
Results-oriented personality, with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
Demonstrated ability to maintain humility and temperament in a fast-paced and competitive environment
Highly self-motivated and self-directed, along with a clear partnership mindset and comfort working collaboratively in a cross-border team environment
Fluent in French and English.
