Rothschild & Co named Capital Markets and M&A Adviser of the Year (English only)
Rothschild & Co has received two of the top awards from IFR this year - Capital Markets Adviser of the Year and M&A Adviser of the Year.
This is the third consecutive year we have been named Capital Markets Adviser of the Year, which acknowledges our achievements in both Debt Advisory and Equity Advisory. Judges highlighted our growing capital markets advisory effort, from an already dominant position, and our wealth of experience in challenging markets.
For M&A Adviser of the Year, judges highlighted our activity in major cross-border deals, our flexibility as adviser on both the buy and sell-sides, and our record year in advisory revenue.
Additionally, we advised on several winning transactions:
- Melrose's £4.5bn acquisition loan was named EMEA Loan of the Year (as part of our advice on Melrose's acquisition of GKN)
- Cineworld's €1.7bn rights issue was named EMEA Secondary Equity Issue of the Year (as part of our financing advice on Cineworld's acquisition of Regal Entertainment)
- The University of Cambridge's £600m dual-tranche bond was named Europe Investment-Grade Corporate Bond of the Year.
