Rothschild & Co wins two awards at Euromoney's Awards for Excellence (en anglais uniquement)
Rothschild & Co has been named Western Europe’s Best Bank for Advisory and Best Investment Bank in the Netherlands at this year’s Euromoney Awards for Excellence.
The awards reflect our breadth of capabilities across M&A and financing advisory over the 12 months April 2020 to March 2021.
This is the second consecutive year that we have won Western Europe’s Best Bank for Advisory and the first time we have won Best Investment Bank in the Netherlands.
Regarding Western Europe, Judges commented on our superior deal volume and named three of our M&A deals as in their top 10 of the year:
- Snam’s acquisition (together with GIP, Brookfield, GIC, OTPP and NH) of a 49% stake in ADNOC’s gas pipelines
- Ingencio’s mixed tender offer by Worldline and Advent
- Cinven & RAG’s acquisition of thyssenkrupp’s Elevator Technology business
The judges also observed clients' need for advice on liquidity and capital this year, through our Financing Advisory expertise.
And in the Netherlands, the judges highlighted a number of large and high-profile deals across both M&A and financing such as José de Mello's sale of an 81.1% interest in Brisa to a consortium including APG Asset Management.
