• Making a meaningful difference to disadvantaged young people

At Rothschild & Co we believe that the circumstances in which you grow up should not prove a barrier to success in life.

As a group we recognise that we can have a significant impact on the life chances of young people and social sector organisations supporting them. To this end we pursue a single Community Investment mission across all of our offices and businesses: to make a meaningful difference to children and young people whose opportunities in life are restricted as a result of disadvantage.

    Pro-bono Advisory

One of the most effective ways in which we can make a difference to disadvantaged children and young people is by sharing the professional knowledge and skills we possess as a business with promising social-purpose organisations. Charities and social enterprises around the globe benefit from free professional advice in order to help them identify pathways to effective and sustainable growth that enables more expert support to disadvantaged young people.

If you represent a charity or social purpose organisation which might benefit from pro-bono advice and would like to find out more, please contact community.investment@rothschildandco.com.

    Skills for Life

Through our Skills for Life initiative our employees offer volunteering support directly to disadvantaged young people. Our employees share general life skills and knowledge we possess which might be of use to young people and typically takes the form of mentoring, coaching or tutoring designed to help them overcome challenges and take steps towards being able to fulfil their potential.
