About our Manchester office

The Rothschild family has enjoyed a long association with the city of Manchester. Nathan Mayer Rothschild acquired his first British premises in Manchester in 1799 and lived in the city for a decade, using his network of contacts to fund local businesses and send goods from Lancashire around the world.

More than two centuries later, Rothschild & Co launched its Wealth Management operation in Manchester in 2015, led by Peter Hindle. Once more, the firm is working with North West based entrepreneurs, business owners and families to help grow and preserve their wealth.

The Wealth Management team sits alongside the Global Advisory office which has operated in the city since 1963.
