2025 Global Advisory Long Term Internship

Eligibility: This opportunity is for candidates who have either graduated or are eligible for a 6-month internship during their studies

Overview: This opportunity will provide an introduction to our Global Advisory division and will allow you to fully immerse yourself in life at Rothschild & Co.
There will be two intakes:
- September-December: Consideration for a full-time offer for our 2026 Graduate Programme.
- January-June: Consideration for a full-time offer for our 2027 Graduate Programme.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Research the industries in which our clients operate to support senior bankers’ marketing initiatives
- Provide specified input for company profiles, presentations and other documents
- Provide input and editing of Excel-based models, including application of various valuation techniques
- Support the team with developing standard or bespoke financial models under guidance from bankers in your team
- Support the team in coordinating the transaction process during live transactions internally and by liaising with clients, their counterparties and other advisers
- Attend internal and external calls and meetings as appropriate
During your internship, you will be assigned to one of our M&A sector teams or Debt & Restructuring teams, based on the firm's current business needs. From the moment you join, you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the daily operations and professional environment at Rothschild & Co.
Please Note: First round interviews for this role will commence at the end of April, with the final stage taking place across May and June.
Qualifications, experience and competencies:
- On track for a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent in your university degree
- Genuine interest in corporate finance with good commercial awareness
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Diligent and committed to excellence
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
